The video for "Can I Get On" made me do a double take....it was just so real and ordinary and yet not so ordinary at the same time. I mean basically its three guys in front of a wall with clips of trips and studio and what not-- its like a well put together home video. The song has a catchy hook (pretty much any song where you say oh) you got a little choreography, outfits are hot and you know- is just a cool vibe. So click, play, and dance away!!...lol
Now "Hip-Hop Props" is just a deadly song. It pays serious respect to some of Hip-Hops best and brightest stars (Kriss Kross is included and some may find that debatable...haha) but yeah, though the words have been changed you can hear the melodies of some of Hip-Hops most well known tracks:Sugar Hill Gang ("Rappers Delight") Das EFX, FU Schnickens, Kris Kross("Jump Jump"),Supa Cat ("Dem No Worry We") Digable Planets("Cool Like That"),Luchini ("This Is It What")
I also LOVE the fact that them fellas always bigging up the VI and St.Thomas to be exact. They even big up Daddy Friday (rest his soul). I really admire that they highlight their Caribbean roots at all times man. Big up!!

You know, I like Nicolalionfish. Her voice reminds me of Erykah Badu...light yet so powerful....I really wish her success with her music career - whatever it means to her. She is really pushing her music and I like this song. check it out!

Berbice- "Woie Mama," "My Baby," 'Que Pasa," " Doh Gimme More Rum", "Caribbean Girl"
"Woi Mama" has a zouk flavor that I like, "My Baby" and "Caribbean Girl" have more of a groovy soca vibe. Of course Que Pasa is the typical I met a girl in Venezuela song with a touch of that spanish flava and Doh Gimme more rum pretty much speaks for itself.
Berbice can definely sing, the only fault I have with the music...too much autotune. To me autotune is for people experimenting with music or people who just flat out cant sing. Berbice can handle the mike, so my humble suggestion....ease up on de autotune man.....less is more!

Ooh ya'll know how I feel about autotune- not like I may never use it on a track (God forbid.lol) but its just so played out for me right now. Now there are some artists that use autotune and it just sounds so right like T-Pain and Weezy, Serani maybe. I think I can say the same for Gregg Letang AKA 2Greedi out of Dominica, on this track. It's mellow, easy and a nice chune to bump to when you liming with a drink in your hand. Enjoy, I know some of you can relate.
